Dr Monlux is Board Certified in Family Medicine, since 1971. He began his medical career as an Army General Medical Officer where he obtained the rank of Major, after receiving his medical degree from the University of Washington, School of Medicine. Dr Monlux has a vast knowledge in a variety of medical areas, having served as a General Medical Officer in the Army, as well as, in family practice and emergency medicine. He has also worked as Medical Director in pain management, occupational medicine and urgent care practices. Additionally, Dr Monlux was in private practice as a primary care physician; founding the first combined urgent care and family practice in Alaska and growing his original solo practice into a multi physician group practice.
Dr Monlux has vast experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of internal medicine, orthopedic and emergent conditions and diseases and has authored numerous articles published in a variety of professional medial journals. Currently, Dr Monlux serves as a Clinical Investigator, working primarily at our Brandon and Temple Terrace clinics on multi-specialty clinical trials, providing quality patient care and dependable research services.
